Happy May Day!

When I was a little girl, my mom and I spent hours on April 30th putting together May Day baskets for my classmates.  We'd fill each basket with candy and flowers and drive around Tulsa to drop them off on my friends' doorsteps after school on the first of May.

Daniel wasn't familiar with this tradition when I told him about it a few years ago, but it's one I hope to bring back with our little ones when they get old enough.  Gifting May Day baskets is a way to celebrate spring and make your friends feel special, and I definitely feel like it helped me learn to think about making other people happy at a young age.

Happy May Day, friends. Sending virtual flowers and candy your way--I appreciate you!
