Ten Things I've Learned in My First Year of Motherhood

1. All babies are boys (unless they're wearing bows) to strangers.
2. Once baby becomes mobile/starts eating solids, you'll never eat your meal hot again.
3. The boob fixes everything.
4. There is no longer a standard for my own outward appearance in public. It's a victory if we make it out the door at all!
5. Nursing isn't supposed to be painful. Ask for help early.

6. Projectile poop is a thing.
7. There are veteran mamas out there who want to help you.
8. There are new mamas out there who need your help.
9. Don't let other people make you question your instincts.
10. Show yourself grace so you can show it to your clueless husband, your screaming baby, and everyone giving you unwanted advice.
